That's why it's called a shortcut. If it were easy, it would just be "the way".

A Picture Reveals 1000 Words

If Blogger had teeth, I would kick Blogger in the teeth. Well, it is free. Maybe not. On the other hand, I have tried posting this about 15 times. I would be tempted to knock a couple of teeth out if I had the chance. Hmmmm….

Greg said he would give someone $3 if they would say they were fat. Hey! I could use $3 so I said, “I’m fat.”

Then I started thinking about how Blogland is all about perception. I have these images of what people are like in my head. Luke is manly and strong. Star is thin and has this “way” about her. Jake is whatever sweet looks like on a guy. Pete looks like that curly haired, testosterony guy. Lunatic has muscles. Jaskia is exotic & beautiful. Martinilove is the girl next door kind of beautiful. Everyone is good looking in blogland.

At any rate, whenever I read people’s blogs, I conjure up this image of what they look like. And I said I am fat. So now is everyone imagining a fat Amber Lynn? What does your fat Amber Lynn look like? It’s all perception. What if I told you I have great sex hair and I am underweight? What does that Amber Lynn look like?

Anyway, I have contemplated posting a real picture of me, not some freaky one where just my eyeball is poking out of my hair. But then is that a good idea? Wouldn’t it ruin some perceptions? I mean, I am told that Amber Lynn is actually a porn star. (Not me. But there is a porn star with that name.) I am just a person with my quirks and weirdness. I actually think about 20% of my beauty can only be seen in real life because it is a presence about me. I know I’m not ugly. I know I am not a super model. I am just a person, and doesn’t that ruin perceptions? I’m normal looking with a side of sauce.

Tonight was my dad’s birthday. We had a really, really fun time. He has a great sense of humor. We laughed so hard, I couldn’t see sometimes. And we have some great pics from tonight. And I want to post them as if you were my friends and wanted to know what tonight looked like.

But tonight looks like whatever it is in your head. Maybe that’s half the beauty of Blogland.
